With building momentum, Marketscience invests in growth

New York, NY – March 8, 2023 – Marketscience are delighted to announce the appointment of Irina Pessin-Monnerat to the newly created role of Associate Partner, Growth and Business Development. This development reflects the momentum that the company is experiencing in cementing its relationships with existing clients, as well as reaching new clients and markets with their advanced marketing effectiveness offering.

Sebastian Shapiro, Founder and Executive Partner, said: “It is exciting to work with someone with both a solid understanding of our advanced technical solutions as well as an experienced understanding of how to scale analytics and embed them into usable insights for organizational adoption”.

Irina will collaborate closely with Co-Founders and industry veterans David Dixon, Sebastian Shapiro and Dr Peter Cain, as well as Partners Nitesh Sahay and Katie Schumacher and the broader Marketscience team, to drive sustained awareness and growth of the firm’s transparent and award-winning suite of modeling and software products and services. She will also work to accelerate their strategic partnerships with world-class academic and business institutions. On the market front, Irina’s strategic location in Miami will serve as a catalyst for the expansion of the company’s capabilities in the Latin America region, leveraging language skills and experience with clients in the region.

Commenting on joining Marketscience, Irina said: “Looking forward to working with innovators like Peter and Nitesh to help bring unique and important advances in modeling approach and software to market”.

Irina has an extensive background as a practitioner in the marketing effectiveness industry having worked in various media agencies and marketing effectiveness consultancies in both Europe and the US. In her most recent senior management roles at Data2Decisions, Carat and Kantar, she led the establishment and growth of a marketing effectiveness business and the scaling of different analytical solutions across clients and geographies. Irina holds an MSc in Business and Economics from City University, London, UK.
